The find series — free travel apps from IbiPoint
At IbiPoint, we make eSIMs that keep travelers connected in 200+ countries. But staying connected is only half of travel. The other half is what you do with the connection — the people you meet, the food you find, the corners you’d never have found alone.
So we started building the find series: free apps for travelers, made by the same small team behind IbiPoint. No subscriptions. No third-party ads. No tracking. Just the tools we wanted on our own trips.

Find Yourself! — a map of people
Find Yourself! is a map, and every pin is a real person nearby — a traveler passing through, an expat who knows the city, a local who runs walking tours. Tap a pin, and you meet them.
It’s not a dating app. It’s for the moment every traveler knows: you’ve just arrived, you don’t know a soul, and you’d love dinner company, a coffee tip, or someone to share a taxi.
Your profile is a “me!”
Instead of a long questionnaire, your profile is a me! — up to three photos and one open line. Write whatever fits: “looking for dinner company,” “I run walking tours,” “just landed, need coffee recs.” Change it anytime. Anyone who’s written a me! gets a gold ring around their pin, so you can see at a glance who’s up for connecting — quieter pins are just passing through, and that’s fine too. You can add your home country, the languages you speak, your travel style, and the city you’re heading to next.
Saying hello is simple
See someone interesting? Send a message. If they reply, you’re connected, and you’ll find each other in your us! list. No swiping, no paywalled likes, no algorithm deciding who you’re allowed to talk to. One honest first message — the other person decides.
Private by default
Your pin never sits at your true position — it’s placed inside a roughly two-kilometer zone around you, and other people see only your city and a rough distance. Hide your profile whenever you like and keep chatting with the people you’ve already met, and you decide whether your location updates automatically. No analytics, no tracking, no data selling — we don’t want your data, and we’ve no use for it. And delete means delete: remove your account, and your profile, photos, and me! are gone from our servers — to the people you chatted with, you simply become a deleted user.
Safe by design
Every photo is screened automatically before it goes live, and a person reviews anything flagged. Get verified with a quick selfie, matched against your profile photos and deleted the moment it’s checked — never stored. Verified profiles carry a small gold check. Report and block are one tap away, everywhere in the app.

Find Food! — eat where it’s actually good
Find Food! is the second app in the series: a map of good food, for travelers. Land somewhere new and you don’t want the tourist trap with the laminated menu — you want the plate that’s actually worth it. Find Food! is a map of exactly those.
A map of dishes, not just restaurants
Open the app and the map centers on you. Every pin is a photo of a real dish, dropped at the spot where someone actually ate it — not a venue score averaged from a thousand strangers, but a single plate somebody thought worth logging. Tap a pin for the whole story: the photos, the restaurant, the dish, what it cost, and the poster’s own ratings on the four things that matter — taste, portion, service, and ambience. Below that, any notes they left (“ask for it extra spicy,” “cash only,” “worth the queue”), an optional link, and a one-tap Navigate to head straight there. Because each entry is one dish, a great place shows up as several things worth ordering — not one star rating that tells you nothing about what to eat.
Posting is as quick as the photo
Found something great? Snap one to three photos, name the restaurant and the dish, and you’re basically done. Price, a link, notes, your own ratings — all optional. When you post, a little map opens at your position and you slide the pin onto the exact table you ate at — while your GPS quietly confirms you were really there. (That’s the only reason Find Food! asks for your location — to place the dish, the moment you post it.) Want to come back to something? Tap the heart to save it to your Favorites.
Real finds only
Every post is checked by a person before it hits the map. Photos are screened automatically first, then someone reviews each dish — so the map fills with genuine finds, not spam or fakes. The moment yours is approved, you get a notification that it’s live. And if a listing is ever wrong, closed, or out of place, reporting it takes one tap.
Private, like the rest of the series
Find Food! pins where you ate, never where you live. Your location is captured only when you post — the app isn’t following you around. No analytics, no third-party ad networks, no data selling. Sign in with email, Apple, or Google, and if you delete your account, your posts, photos, and favorites go with it.
Find Food! is out now on the App Store, with the Android version arriving on Google Play — free, in the same eight languages as Find Yourself!.
Why free?
Fair question. The find apps have no subscriptions, no third-party ads, and no in-app purchases — and that won’t change.
The honest answer: the find series is made by IbiPoint, and IbiPoint sells eSIMs. If you enjoy the apps and one day need mobile data abroad, we’d love it if you thought of us. That’s the whole model. Now and then you’ll see a small card for IbiPoint eSIMs inside the apps — that’s us, not an advertiser, always clearly labeled, and it’s the only “ad” you’ll ever meet. Tapping it never trades away your data.
